What a beautiful photo and poem. For the last two years I have been singing in One Voice, theTC LGBT chorus. One of our concerts was on the theme of belonging and we sang a song wih this word but I cannot remember the meaning. Where is this mosque located?

This is in Sevilla, Spain– it is currently known as the Alcázar of Seville, but was once a Muslim fortress. It was converted during the Christian conquest of Sevilla, but notes of Arab architecture remain throughout the site.
